¿Qué es?: Una casa modernista de principios del siglo XX ubicada en Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier, Murcia). Es considerada el motor del desarrollo urbano de la zona.
Origen: Fue construida por el matrimonio de José María Barnuevo y Teresa Sandoval, quienes también impulsaron la construcción de una ermita y un hotel cercano para atraer a la clase alta murciana como zona de veraneo.
Importancia legal: Es Bien de Interés Cultural (BIC) desde 1992.
Arquitectura: Destaca su planta pentagonal y, sobre todo, su mirador de madera artesonado, que es su elemento más distintivo. Originalmente incluía dependencias curiosas como un gallinero, pajar y cocheras.
